Final exhibition for the HNC course.

I have chosen these works to display in my online exhibition because I feel that they best represent the work I have done over this course, I have included the work I am most proud of and the work that shows the range of things I have done this year. some of the work is from my sculptural project that was based on the flat I currently reside in and other student flats i have visited, I took inspiration from Tracey Emin's bed. I also looked at the 'Grand Miniature' exhibition featuring Stefania Carlotti and others at Sentiment, Zürich. The sketches here are drawn from photos of my found object and body sculptures earlier in the project where I looked at Sarah Lucas; who places herself amongst the objects she has made. Her sculpture and self portraits are very confrontational. I wanted to explore the expectations of lockdown and my experience of not meeting these productive and creative potentials.
